About

I am a New York City based cinematographer. As a child of two immigrants and growing up in Virginia, a creative path never seemed possible. The spark started when I was young, always going to the library and checking out VHS tapes to watch with my family every weekend. That time nurtured a love and desire for storytelling and showed me how stories can bring people together.

I started to hone my visual eye in the Washington DC Area, developing a fascination for street photography and capturing beautiful stories in a moment.  Soon, I wanted more and my interests crossed over from still images to filmmaking. Once I moved to New York, I started to build my experience in the camera and lighting departments and have used those skills as a DP. Since then I’ve been fortunate to shoot short films, music videos, branded content, and documentary. In every project, I looking for the backbone of the story first and then work to elevate that story through the visuals.

My work has been featured in a number of festivals including:

  • Katra LatinX Film Festival

  • Black Women in Comedy Film Festival

  • Black Web Fest

  • New York Short Film Festival
